Winkk is the visionary founder and CEO of Winkkatme Productions. She is a talented writer, director, author, and award-winning choreographer. Her engaging and relatable writing style, combined with her creativity and unexpected plot twists, consistently enthralls audiences, leaving them eager for more.

Winkk has received multiple nominations from the Broadway World Chicago Awards 2025 in several categories, such as “Best Direction of a Play” for her stage plays Stilettos and Suits and Undercover, “Best New Play” for Undercover and “Best Play” for both Stilettos and Suits and Undercover. Additionally, several actors from these productions were also nominated for “Best Performers” and awarded "Best Supporting Performer" in a Play.

Winkk has authored five novels and was recognized as a nominee for “Breakout Author of the Year” by the African American Literary Association. Her novel Tour Secrets 2 received a 4.5 rating on a 5-point scale from Urban Reviews, which described it as a "near classic."  ​RWA Book Club gave the following praises for the Tour Secrets book series, "It's a quick read with plenty of drama to keep you at the edge of your seat turning pages.” APOOO Book Club offered the following accolades, “I was emotionally exhausted when I finished reading the Tour Secrets series because I could visualize the words coming to life. The book kept my undivided attention from beginning to end”.  Time Book Club offered more accolades with this review, “Misleading novel was an exciting and entertaining book to read with unsuspecting twists. The characters were well developed."

Winkk was awarded the Katherine Dunham Award for “Best Choreography” for her exceptional work on the musical The Color Purple and she earned a nomination for “Best Choreography” for her contributions to the musical Dreamgirls from the Black Theater Alliance.
